Kerry vs. Condi: Live & Uncut
I'm unsure when the hearings will take place. Do they start tuesday and will Kerry be there?

I cannot wait to see him on TV again doing his thing. I really hope he grills her just like he did Bush in the debates. That idiot Condi really gets frazzled under the lights.

1. Me too, but I don't know how he feels about her compared to say Rummy
I know he said in the Rolling Stone endorsement issue that he didn't know that much about her, but that she seemed smart and he didn't know how much they took her advice in the WH.

Hopefully by now he's done his homework on her, and will grill the stuffin's out of her.

New Kerry PAC to Focus on Voter Disenfranchisement and More

From the tomorrow’s Boston Globe:

Without offering details, Kerry aides said yesterday that the senator plans to file legislation to correct some of the election problems that occurred in 2000 and 2004. Aides also said that a political action committee he started after the election -- a committee that could lay the groundwork for a second presidential campaign in 2008 -- would also be dedicated to preventing disenfranchisement.

After the disputed vote in Florida in 2000, Congress approved the Help America Vote Act of 2002 and authorized $4 billion so that states could create central computerized voter lists and update voting systems by 2006. But many states have not yet made improvements, and two federal agencies are planning inquiries to look into problems that plagued both old and new systems last November.

From JohnKerry.com:

With your support, johnkerry.com is fighting for a national standard for federal elections that has both transparency and accountability in our voting system. It's unacceptable in the United States that people still don't have full confidence in the integrity of the voting process. I ask you to join me in this cause -- and in working to make our voices heard on the most critical issues of 2005.

I understand the strength, commitment, and passion that are at the core of what we built together -- and I am determined to make our collective energy and organization a force to be reckoned with in the weeks and months ahead. Let's roll up our sleeves and get back to work for our country.

because what he was saying was so cogent. He speaks in plain English with no nonsense--stays right on point. She meanders. Blew a lot of his time by reciting a list of the enemy combatants. She didn't really answer the question: what will she do right after the election to seize the opportunity to make things better and prevent a civil war?

edit: (I hope you all are seeing how very OVER-qualified John Kerry is for his job!!!) :) :)

Kerry finishes, Coleman takes over.

74. yeah
she's using that little clipped voice that she used in the 9/11 hearings.

Boxer was great! A woman can attack another woman with more impunity.

78. The ten-minute limit
really bites. But Condi probably needs a repuke break that often so she doesn't completely lose it.

79. HAha
You are probably right. If she had to go more than ten minutes with Feingold, Kerry, or Boxer she would absolutely crack! LMAO. She almost did with just ten minutes. Damn I have to say the three of them are doing what I wanted to see done!

81. So far, it's been
a real treat. Except for Biden. What was he thinking? He didn't need to say he was going to vote for her. I don't get the point of that.

But man, Condi - just like at the 9/11 hearings. Lying her ass off, defensive, and wasting time. I guess we have all her tics down cold. I hope they keep her there all night.

85. I agree about Biden
That was part of my reason for my comments earlier when Tay Tay told me to calm down it was just the opening statements. I didn't like it when he said he was voting for her nor did I like him making the point to say * was "our" president four more years. ARRGH! I know he was directing the comment to Europe but still that statement is false with many Americans including me and was one that was also unnecessary. Then Feingold painting her out to be something great now that was sickening as well! ARRGH! So I was very much glad to see the others. Dodd did OK. But it as Kerry, Feingold, and Boxer that laid it to the sorry bitch!

I'm more than ready for round 2! They won't keep her there to late because they have these hearings again tomorrow at the same time. I wish Biden would grill her sorry ass. I thought for sure he would do more than he has so far. I think she dug a hole for herself before the break when she said the war wasn't over WMD's only. Because we know that so many Senators and Americans would have never supported that war if they wasn't told it was over WMD's and the WMD's was there. So I think we will see real fire works in round 2! Can you imagine Kerry, Finegold, Dodd, Biden and maybe even others faces when that bitch said that?

There are 2 Dems and 4 Rethugs who have to make opening comments. Or maybe they will go late into the night. This is what they are supposed to be doing, watching the watchers.

80. Hey gang!
My computer is in a different room than the t.v. and I don't have wireless, so I'm popping in for a quick hello. Helluva good thing going on in election results forum about Kerry and Boxer. I don't mean to post and run, but I have a boatload to do in an hour before they start again.

After all of the repuke shmoozing (I was getting sick) it was a beautiful thing to see her being held accountable for lies.

92. WOW anyone watching the senator of Maryland slapping Condi
attacking her for the 9/11 testimony, attacking her for not meeting with Democrats, even attacking her for the ignorance of not being worried about a weak economy.

She's definetly getting frazzled like the 9/11 testimony.
