talked about today. Apparently, they were around for Fashion Week in NYC last week:

At the Manuel show on Friday afternoon, we learned about the custom cowboy boots that SCOTT WAYNE EMMERICH, a boot designer, had designed for JOHN KERRY, with "silhouettes and hidden things that he's done throughout his life, like guitars, hockey, parasailing. All the things that he that really likes in life are hidden inside the boot in the top in the tooling. You won't see them. I put like little chocolate chip cookies. 6. Cool boots

I'm not much into boots myself, although my dad was. They make some nice ones. I've always liked fine tooled boots better than flashy ones though, wonder if they worked with JK or just made the call on their own.
