Kerry leaving the DLC
I have read from other longtime Kerrycrats he has left the DLC. I was wondering if any of you guys have the article to show he's left etc. Thanks. Or you can come and post in my Kerry vs Dean thread in GD.

1. the stuff about him "leaving"
had to do more with him not really associating with them. nothing official or unofficial. not that any of it really matters.

Harry Reid isn't a member of the dlc yet he has a conservative record.

Kerry is more like Eliot Spitzer in that they are on there but have mostly liberal records.

this is one reason why the whole dlc thing is stupid. they are blaming Reid for Hackett's withdrawal, yet Reid's ass isn't even in the dlc.

4. But when talking about 2008 contenders, From never mentions Kerry
And I don't really think they were much of a help in 2004 either. In fact, as I put on my tinfoil, I say I think they were not much help on purpose.

He's too liberal for them. They treat him like a red-headed stepchild. Sometimes I think they used him because they didn't think he could win, and when he started to do just that, I bet they were as dismayed as the Republicans.

Hence, some reports that those he thought were on his side in Ohio weren't really on his side. I remember having a conversation that had something to do with that with lalarawraw.

5. Neither has Dean to my knowledge
He is not in the list because he is no more an elected official, period.
