I got my first call from Friends of JK |
|
A very nice man. They want pledges for JK's upcoming travel to campaign for Congressional candidates this year. I said I was in! :)

1. Interesting. I wonder where he will go |
|
Probably in the summer and fall, but I wonder what Congressional districts and states he will go to. Hmmmm.

I'd be happy just to get the next e-mail. Mom got everyone of them. I wrote to my e-mail provider, sent them JK's PAC address to inform them that I'm not receiving e-mail from this address, and the only thing I've gotten back so far is an automatic response stating that spam is a problem. Sigh!
I'd love the call too though. :-)

As a matter of fact, I have never put my phone number on any online sites connected with JK. Only my email. The only way they would have had my number was by going through the DPW--the Democratic Party of Wisconsin. So if you want a call, maybe registering on your state Dem site would be the way.

I registered with a state PAC and my county Democratic Committee, but I only signed up for e-mail at the state party site.

4. I found out the difference between FJK and KAP |
|
Maybe all of you know already, but: FJK provides funds for his actual travel to states to campaign for candidates, and KAP provides money directly to the campaigns of said candidates. Both are good causes. This time they are asking for $50 pledges so that they can budget for this year's events, and will be sending me a pledge packet.
