Call me the tin foil hat conspiracy queen, but CNN's deplorable coverage of Kerry and the filibuster attempt is now making more sense. The powers that be that oversee CNN were BIASSED toward having Alito on the bench. Unbelievable!

1. Did you hear anything about Kerry the last 3yrs on CNN that wasn't RW spin

and a GOP talking point?

CNN - House of Saud/House of Bush - certainly weren't going to let an openthebooks lawmaker like Kerry get near the White House.

The BFEE has its players in every position of power in the media - they worked on it for over twenty years. Dems trying to play catch up are WAY too late - the best chance we have now is for Dems to EXPOSE the media control at every opportunity.

3. You're absolutely right, BLM

I guess I think this in particular is a big deal, because there is a one to one correspondence between how a story was told AND an executive at Time Warner having all of those associations with Alito and now being a clerk with Alito. Normally, this stuff is not as obviously transparent, but here it is very obvious, ridiculously obvious, and I as an American citizen am outraged that this has happened in such a blatant way. With all of the fine work you have done in the past, I'm sure you have countless examples just like this, but this was something I went through in slow motion and put together on my own (the diarist at Kos didn't even talk about the CNN coverage of the filibuster attempt), which made it that much more chilling for me . . .

2. With the media and the Repubs working so forcefully against

Dem's it is more important than ever that we all stick together and not come out publicly criticizing our own. We reinforce all the negatives when we do not defend our own and allow the media and the repubs to define us.
I wonder how many of those who voted for Alito knew or know how far out this administrations tentacles reach and how entangled they are in everything.
More than ever, we need someone like Kerry in power to unravel this mess. Today, I am very discouraged for our country.
