1. I'll go with election fraud |
|
and I'll throw in Iowa, too. I remember that was one swing state the Dems thought they'd get, too--and wasn't the final count delayed by quite a bit?

2. Now that you mention it, |

we have John Kerry AND Howie Carr.
We also have to put up with at least our fair share of pinheads. ;-)

10. I've wondered about that, too |
|
Then someone had a theory; during the 90's we had a lot of 'imports' from red states; people who came up here during the tech boom for jobs. Those people are the ones who built McMansions, and vote republican, thus driving the repug consensu up artificially. Thankfully, a lot of that crowd is leaving again, because the economy is not nearly as healthy here as it was before Bush. Yes, we were one of the last states to get hit, but we finally did.

6. A round of applause for North Carolina! |
|
:applause: Shrub's approval rating is down 10% with 43% approving and 53% disapproving. Too little too late, I realize but still, it's something that give me at least a little bit of hope.

Funny, the polls weren't that much different here before the election.

9. just imagine the red state-blue state map today |
|
It was predictable; you can't fool so many people indefinitely. Too late for the 04 election, sadly. If this second * term gets us back the Congress, it will be some consolation.
