Photos from fundraiser for Ed Perlmutter |
|
Edited on Sat Feb-25-06 08:06 AM by CarolNYC
A Clarkie has posted some photos he took at the Perlmutter fundraiser in Colorado which he and John Kerry both attended. I thought you guys might like to see them. I know I'd love to see pictures of Gen Clark at a function like this if one of you guys took them. :) Enjoy...they're nice.... http://community.webshots.com/album/547960422vDUDkR

And upon further review of these photos, it appears that he is indeed wearing his blue tie.

Didn't you also post some Chris Heinz (with Clark) pictures here a long time ago?

I will most certainly notify folks if I see Gen. Clark in MA/NH and post the pics. (It would be a pleasure.)
I love that third pic. That's the look on Sen. Kery's face when Teresa is around, usually.

I'm glad you enjoyed them. I thought they were quite nice when I saw them.
The Clarkie who attended said that John was warm and humorous in the small group gathering. Also, that he'd done five events in Colorado after being in Minnesota the day before...He was to take a break and go skiing yesterday.
Oh, and yes, I did post the Chris Heinz photos...THAT was a neat event...Gen Clark speaking at an event in Chris' loft. One thing I keep thinking of from that night as 2006 elections draw near.....a lot of the night was about how important 2006 was and what we could do to win Dem seats in Congress. Chris came up to speak to wrap the night up after the others were done and he again mentioned 2006 and said we especially needed to get rid of Santorum who held his father's seat. I hadn't realized that Santorum was in his late father's seat until he said that...There was just something really moving about the way he said that. And, now as the elections draw near, I want Santorum gone for the good of the country, for the state of PA where I grew up and still have many family memebers living, and for Chris, for whom the whole thing is a little more personal than for most of the rest of us. (Sorry for going off-topic, there...)
