2. Whoa! That will be an update on the Iraq speeches
That should be very interesting. (The update involves the deepening of the 'low-level Iraqi civil war.)

Good to know and thanks!

3. This Sunday!
It will be nice to read what he has to say - he was clearly far more pessimistic when he questioned Rice than he was last fall - and he spoke of last chances then. That was before the destruction of the shrine and increased violence. I wonder if the fact that he is outside the US will temper what he has to say.

4. I am extremely interested in hearing what JK has to say
I forgot to mention on the Iraqi blogger thread, that some Iraqis think that it was al Sistani who basically gave the green light (in a very subtle, veiled way) to launch reprieves against Sunnis. I hope that that isn't true. If al Sistani throws up his arms and has had enough of standing by, then a real civil war will break out. But the government is now saying that militias have to disarm or become part of the regular army -- we'll see if they can enforse that.

With all of these changes, I would like to hear if the Senator has digested them, and what he thinks we can do.

5. I'm guessing this is the makeup for when he had to cancel
to come back for the Alito filibuster.

I'm still kind of bummed about that....I'm glad he's getting to do the speech now, anyway.
