Kerry pays nostalgic visit to state launching his campaign
DES MOINES, Iowa Democratic nominee John Kerry paid an emotional return to the state that launched him toward his party's nomination for president this evening, saying he felt "an unbelievable wave of nostalgia."

It was Kerry's first visit to the state since he lost the White House November 2nd, and he says he's learning to build on the lessons of that loss. He says the fight didn't end with that loss, but he thinks it just got started with greater intensity.

Kerry was joined by his wife Teresa and some of his children. He stopped off in Iowa on his way to a family vacation in Sun Valley, Idaho.

Kerry noted that it was precisely one year ago his campaign for the Democratic nomination began to rise from the ashes. He was discounted by many toward the end of 2003, with his campaign sharply divided and lagging badly in the polls.

I doesn't really describe the "emotional" part they are describing but I can imagine.

I guess he will get to snowboard in peace this winter.

1. A Birthday Wish
It was his first trip back since the election. Kerry's birthday is Saturday. He said his wife asked what he wanted. He said 55-thousand votes in Ohio. That total would have won him the state and won him the election.

3. Kerry Will Run In 2008
I watch the video and I love hearing this man. And like a baby a cried listening to him. I loved it when Teresa was starting to talk and she said regardless of who runs in 2008 they will have.....then the crowd cut her off chanting KERRY! KERRY! KERRY! KERRY! I hope she didn't get aggravated about everything that happen about this 2004 campaign that she will talk John out of running in 08. Because she would be the only reason he wouldn't run in 08. Gosh he has to run again I know he would win if he did! Once this voting process is fixed and it will be this man will win!
