I'm happy about Boxer and Kerry. I'm not sure about the other Dems. I must say I'm disappointed but I'm not going to write them off either.

2. I don't write people off because of stuff like this |
|
I do write people up for it, just like the patriot act, I dont fry the dems who said yes but Feingold and the others have my admiration for saying no. I wish more had voted no too but eh, kudos to those two, I am not really surprised, Kerry voted against Ashcroft and Norton too but that gets lost of course when you hear so many calling him bushlite.

It's ridiculous to expect every single Democrat to vote your way all the time. They're people too and they have their own opinions. I don't agree w/ the people who voted for the IWR or the PATRIOT Act but I'm also not going to hate them for it either. This 'my way or the highway' attitude is not productive.

I still love my MD Senators Mikulski and Sarbanes, even though they voted to confirm her. They are good people even though I don't understand their reasoning. Sarbanes did try to expose Rice as an economic dingbat yesterday anyway, so he's still my people! Yet, I am so proud of Kerry and Boxer!

7. I would like to say something more profound... |
|
...than floaty hearts.
How about this one: :yourock:
That's a "symbolic vote" if ever there were one. The LFreeps should be happy, since they like it when people stand almost alone in doing the right thing.
Only, they're not, or so I hear. Kinda makes you wonder if we actually have lefty Freepers here. :eyes:

Some. Then there are some who insist on bashing which is more than a little suspicious. Especially the ones who pull out the "flip flop" card. Makes you wonder, doesn't it?
