I only worked there a week but I met Congressman Clay, very friendly guy and a great record too. He recongized me one day while I was waiting for the others in my carpool and said hi to me even though I only worked for him briefly.

Most of your coworkers are college aged and friendly, and appreciate the help and if you have the kind of internship I did, they enable you do go to committee hearings so you get to see all kinds of famous people. It's also pretty fun to eat in the Congressional cafeteria and freedom fries were still there last I saw.
