Barack Obama on Oprah
i just saw a late night repeat of Oprah with Barack Obama. it was a very good show and Obama is just as impressive as he was during his convention speech.

one thing that stood out was something his wife said during a discussion of Obama's popularity and being a Senator. she said something about how people build up certain people with huge expectations. but in politics and especially as Senator it involves compromises and doing things that not everyone will be happy with. and how there will be votes that people don't agree with and be disappointed in.
