10. Repukes in the audience, I assume. I'm not watching either but I was
looking for a movie (I gave up and am listening to AAR instead) and flipped by MSNBC. The Democratic Senators had just come in (the only reason I stopped) and Tweety mentioned that Kerry had gotten booed when he walked in.

I didn't see it myself.

We won't even watch it and JK goes to it himself. That takes some cajones.

But wait - no - isn't he a sellout and a coward?

Sorry - had a little cognitive dissonance break there.

And I hear that other than their official duties, all the Dems are begging off from the parties. Well, except for Zell and Joementum I suppose.

He took a few digs at the Pubes and said he wasn't going to the parties.

He was actually pretty cool on the show.

30. He thinks * deserves to put his own guys in.
Biden is still at the '* deserves the cabinet he wants' stage. Kerry has had it with these lying bunch of bastards and can't take it anymore. He voted his conscience and his heart. These bastards suck, their war sucks, their heartlessness towards their fellow citizens suck and Kerry just is not going to give them anymore votes. Why should he, these Rethugs bastards didn't even have the good grace to not boo him when he showed up on the inaugural platform. These Repukes suck and and are all going to hell.

They suck! Get the point!

Have a nice day!

39. I appreciated the support Biden gave Kerry at his Temple University speech
He kept telling him "You did it, pal. You hit it out of the park." I get the feeling they're friends. I'm glad Kerry has a few of those in Congress. Sometimes he seems so isolated. But then maybe I'm just buying into the lie that he's not popular with his colleagues. I'm sure he does alright with the ones who are worth a damn.

43. Boxer's a good friend too
I remember her speaking up for him at the DNConvention with some pundits (Tweety and Andrea Mitchell I think) defending him. She also said, "I'd just like to say 'thank-you, John Kerry, for running for president' " and spoke so highly of him. A great moment.

That must have been painful to do, to be there and smile. I don't think I could have done it, been there, if it were me, no matter what "protocol" was.

Hmm.. perhaps he's "had a feeling," so to speak, that he'll be there again in exactly four years, but in a different spot. I hope.

12. Words too!
WASHINGTON - Sen. John Kerry (news - web sites), who had hoped to be taking the oath of office, on Thursday stressed the importance of cooperation in a democracy but also emphasized sticking to beliefs.

"Democracy means working together for the good of our country; it also means keeping faith with your ideals, never retreating from core convictions even as you work to find common ground," Kerry said in a statement released Thursday morning. "We have strong differences and we argue and fight with all our hearts and energy, and our system endures because we Americans expect nothing less."

Yeah! Go get 'em.

as they say on AAR, "Mandate my Ass!" The only man-date Bush has is probably with Cheney.

Sen. Kerry was very distinguished today. And he looked great. And he took the borish reception from the yahoo faction with great grace. I was proud of him.

Hopefully, he is at home tonight, making fun of the whole thing with some friends and family.

17. This Dude That Is Speaking Now
Is calling for a mass movement by the people like they did for the ending of Vietnam. A John Kerry movement coming up on March 19 all though they are not calling it that but that is what they used as a decription more less. I think John's movement was a great one and a powerful one to take a long hard look at and follow his examples.
