1. I like this part the best
"In his never ending effort to remain relevant, John Kerry today put forward his trademark pessimism. From his calls for retreat and defeat in Iraq to censuring the President, the Senator is more consumed with his own political future than national security. Despite the Democrats' consummate defeatism, President Bush remains committed to winning the War on Terror and protecting Americans." -Tracey Schmitt, RNC press secretary

MORE OF THE SAME FROM KERRY

Then they list his remarks. I love it.

4. Gee...all the points they listed will certainly help
the mainstream non-poly types understand ethics, corruption and accountability. I hope they make more press releases like this!

5. Ahm, the RNC must all be on vacation or awaiting indictment
As far as cutting responses go, this is terrible for them. They actually think that listing all the nice sane things that Sen. Kerry is saying is somehow bad?

Maybe they all have birdbrain flu or something over at Baal's Den (RNC headquareter.) Of everyone had a meeting with their lawyer this morning. Tee hee!

8. No sane human being backs a nuclear strike
It would have catastrophic consequences. Sen. Kerry had it on the theoretical table, but he rightly claimed that this would be a terrible option.

9. Not the nuclear strike, but
the theoretical military option. As you said, no sane human being backs a nuclear strike.

Sen. John Kerry , D-Mass., criticized the administration for using "shoot from the hip, cowboy diplomacy" during an appearance on NBC‘s "Meet the Press." He said the president should be doing more to get sanctions against Iran. He said even though the military option must be left open, "it‘s a terrible option fundamentally, and they know it and everybody else knows it."
