and it's not just Murtha, but people like Chuck Hagel they go crazy over anytime he criticizes Bush.

apology issue. Has Harkin made several statements about regreting his vote? Why isn't it "too little too late" for him? Not only that Murtha was for the war, not just the authorization to pursue UN inspections.

2003 or early 2004. I assume that Harkin, like Kerry, was persuaded to vote for it to get the inspectors in.

and I have some respect for Hagel having met him but if Hagel and Murtha are gonna get atta boys then Kerry should get some respect too.
