*GASP* Well, I never!!
Edited on Wed Apr-12-06 10:56 PM by Vektor
Sometimes, I just scratch my head at the oddness of some things...

I am only drawing your attention to this, not to "rally anything" but to ask if I am completely off the mark in thinking that this:
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=364&topic_id=915967&mesg_id=918944

might not be a warranted response to the post above it, which was just an attempt to link to another post, which addressed the poster's voiced concern. (Whew!)

Sometimes I am just blown away by people, ya know?

Edited to add: my feelings will not be hurt if you guys tell me I was out of line and deserved this.

1. Remember what Old Cruscoe said last night

About uhhh a certain male body part and jealousy there of it. In all honesty it's hard to ponder on whaT Kerry could have done, this wasn't Florida where Gore lost the state by less than a 1000 votes but rather where there had been allegedly a high difference. Kerry didn't fight for me? Yeah I guess fillbustering Alito isn't good enough nor is trying to end this awful war. Oh and no you weren't out of line the guy is being a cockasaurus.

2. No
Some posters are incapable of exercising their brains. It is clear what the purpose of that one is, and it's not to engage in thoughtful dialogue.

4. I think the poster is an idiot - you absolutely didn't deserve it
who either didn't read your post or believes what he wants to believe.

One effect of the internet is that people can seek out like-minded people. The people who think there was an open and shut case that there was election fraud find each other, repeat their ideas, have them validated and begin to believe that any one can see it's true. That an intelligent man like Kerry didn't challange it leads them to develop strange reason why he didn't.

With the administration unravelling, if there was a huge scheme, it's conceivable that it could come out - but I think there's still no recourse. (though there should be.)

6. He needs to wake up
I get really frustrated with these types. The thing is they have no idea how hard Kerry was working behind the scenes to find that one piece of evidence or a whistleblower. He started immediately.

As a Kerry mod at the time, you would not believe how much info was being fed back to the Kerry campaign. We all knew something had gone terribly wrong as soon as the polls switched dramatically.

Cam Kerry was taking everything he could get,as bad as it sounds suppressing votes is not enough evidence to call an election. Kerry conceded, but that did not stop him from continuing his search for good concrete evidence to prove election fraud, that was the only way he could have challenged.

You are also right, it takes more than one man to make a difference it takes the people of this country to stand up and say we are not going to allow this to happen again, that goes for the way we vote and to stop once and for all suppressing people's right to vote. Until then, we will never have fair electons. Huh, and supposedly we have the best democracy in the world, what a crock
