Take the 100 post Internet challenge:
Okay, I've got a task for all the Kerry supporters who are up to it:

100 Posts OUT THERE:

Post 100 pro-Kerry posts around the Internet on small sites and on sites that are not primarily politically oriented. You can even cut and paste. The posts have to be short, loaded with praise, a few great talking points. Use words and phrases geared to the non-political like: war hero, tough, war protestor, smart, etc. Comparing him to Rocky making a comeback or some other pop culture hero might also gain some ground. Remember this isn't for DU or KOS but for the general masses out there in CyberSpace!

NOTE: make sure to make good use of keywords that will come up in searches.

It is not necessart to stick around on any of these sites to get involved in discussion...it can be hit and run.

Anyone up to it?

1. Interesting idea
especially on non-political sites. The hard part would be finding a "connection" to a topic already there to show a significant Kerry good point.

I've been more active in posting on political sites, but in a way most of the people there may already be committed. The goal there is just to get rid of the negative Kerry bias.

If you give me 100 days, I'll commit to it.

2. It helps 2006 too
Any time we can post a real agenda from any Democrat, it plants a seed for 2006 too. I've just been linking for a client of mine and ran across some hunting sites. I was surprised how many actually had environmental links and articles, even to the LCV!!! I didn't used to see that.

:wow:

I think there's lots of room to move in and help shift perceptions.

3. Okay, I just hit 6 new blogs tonight. Only 94 to go! More Challenges!
Here is another challenge:

100 Daily Search challenge:

Do 100 pro-Kerry searches each week (only about 15 per day). If you hit up Google, Yahoo and MSN with five phrases such as "John Kerry hero" that's only about 10 minutes a day...or less if you type fast. If 30 people do this we have 3000 pro-Kerry searches each week going into the search engine stats. And it can't hurt to do a few clicks on the good Kerry sites when doing this exercise.

And another one: 100 Pro-Kerry SITES!

If you don't already have a Pro-Kerry home page or blog (journals on DU don't count), start one. It doesn't have to be huge, expensive or even take a lot of updating. Just say what you want to say and leave it out there. You can use a free Web site page. You can get them just about anywhere. If you are really ambitions, create a dozen or more pages. Link your page(s) to other pro-Kerry sites like this forum. The more the merrier. Hostway.com sells domain names for $6.95 per year.

Democrafty and I love all these ideas, DD! We would like to add http://welovejohnkerry.blogspot.com to the list of 100 and also to note that you inspired us with this post to purchase the domain name welovejohnkerry.com using Hostway.com. Thanks for the tip!

5. AWESOME! Congratulations on your new domain!
With that domain, you are going to come up in searches when people search for "love John Kerry." That means you will eclipse all the trash that comes up when you search on that phrase now.

This is great news! I've already got your blog listed on my Web site.
Are you going to direct the domain to your blog or add a new home page?

6. This seems a bit more urgent now that 2008 could be a go.
I'm going to try for a post a day from now on.
