BLM asked me to help out with this - Kucinich facing challenge |
|
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=132&topic_id=2588292&mesg_id=2588292A lot of Republicans are apparently trying to promote Kucinich's challenger in order to get him unseated in the primary. Typical sleazy Repuke tactics. BLM wanted me to let you guys know - maybe someone could send this along to Kerry's office?

We need to send this along to the DNC and ask them to alert people.

3. It's not a Republican trick |

We know Barbara Ferris. She is fine--a good candidate and person. I doubt seriously that she is in league woth Republicans. That said, I am sure they would love to see Dennis gone. I am not sure they'd like Barbara much better.
Anyway, it makes Dennis work a little harder. He'll still win.

7. So there is spin going on here. (Shocking, just shocking!) |
|
The Repubs might so hate Dennis that they will support anyone who runs against him in the Dem primary, just so they can take Dennis out?
Okay, so this is just Rethugs cutting off their nose to spite their face. I can see that.

Any voter can refuse the ballot given and request another one. It is sleazy, but not illegal.

2. is this legal? perhaps D.U. and Kos needs to get proactive |
|
and start a letter to the editor campaign. Also, if there are local Ohioans, then posting warnings on posts etc to get out the democratic voters too.
Personally, I don't know why the CPD would support anyone other than Kucinich. He's honest and you know where he stands.

6. I read they did this in NOLA too. |
|
splitting the vote. Maybe they did this because of the Illinois race or the Hackett race in Ohio.

10. Kucinich is well entrenched and I think he will beat back this challenge. |
|
The people in his district who are largely voiceless and unheard know he's for them, and they are going to support him without regard for the editorial board of the PLAIN DEALER.
Shame on that paper, anyway. I would expect that sort of thing from the Cincinnati ENQUIRER, but the PLAIN DEALER should know better.
