The Senate this week is working on a bill that funds the war

It is not illogical to assume that perhaps some of the ideas from the past weekend will wind up as possible amendments to this bill that is the pending business of the Senate.

IT is also not illogical to assume that the funding of the Iraq War is a touchstone issue across the liberal web and that, in many ways, it is a no-win situation for certain Senators.

This could be an interesting week.
