I'm serious here. Kerry on 'The Factor' with Bill O'Reilly 4/27 & 28
Edited on Wed Apr-26-06 08:01 AM by TayTay
Gulp. From the transcript for last night's show:

O'REILLY: Because if we lose it or pull out too early -- and I'm talking to John
Kerry, by the way. I'm interviewing him tomorrow. You will see that interview on
Thursday and Friday on The Factor. And he's calling for a year-end pullout.

If we pull out too early and the thing collapses, Iran becomes a dominant player
in the gulf, the most powerful nation, with no U.S. impediment there. That's a
disaster for the world, is it not?

Gulp. Thank you Senator. That really is above and beyond, for duty and humanity!

:patriot:

Remind me not to quote the Three Stooges again when I am talking to a Senator. I have no class at all.

1. I think O'Reilly has an ah...personal problem...
"pull out too early "

"If we pull out too early and the thing collapses"

Just saying...

3. He's a real loofah man
Edited on Wed Apr-26-06 08:20 AM by TayTay
Sitting in his loofah land,
Making all his loofah plans
For nobody.

O'Reilly. OMG, I'm not sure even John Kerry can get me to watch O'lielly. OMG. This might be one of those instances where I go to the cafe and try to get my internet to work, cuz I need practice. (I just can't be near my TV. I have to do, ahm, other stuff.)

Do I have to eat my spinach Mom?
I hate spinach.

4. Such as nasty, old pervert.

Hey, I'll watch just to see the shouting match that might ensue. I'd pay to see JK stomp the "friggin bastid."

6. I hope the interview is in Kerry's office
I like your loofah song. I can't imagine them together - Kerry always looks so sincere and, for lack of a better word, clean and classy. O'Reilly looks like someone you want to cross the street to avoid.

But I strongly object to your smearing spinach. Oddly, my kids liked spinach. When they hated other vegetables they would eat spanikopita and a salad of baby spinach and sliced strawberries.

7. Oh apologize on that.
I actually don't like asparagus. I just don't.

So, ahm, I have still have to figure out if even John Kerry cna get me to watch O'Leilly. The things you do sometimes, sigh. I wouldn't watch O'Lielly for anyone else.

2.  I hope Kerry tapes the interview himself
so O'Reilly can't edit it. I hope he intimidates the guy. Interesting that O'Reilly perceives our military being bogged down in Iraq as a deterant to Iran. (I think Kerry's already answered that many times - Iran can make these provocative statements because they know we're already over committed. )

5. What!!!!! Oh my, I am in shock. I also have a lump in my throat and
gnawing feeling at the pit of my stomach. I never watch O'liely. he raises my blood pressure without a doubt. I will watch it tonight and tomorrow though, for Senator Kerry. I don't trust "Mr. No Spin Zone" though, he has said some nasty things about JK in the past and he manipulates his guests words. The Senator had better be on guard. I do have faith however, that Senator Kerry will clean the floor with him.

He'll be like a cat playing with a mouse--a rather dim-witted and toothless one at that.

16. Or send in Phil Donahue! Not only did he mop the floor with Bill...
but Phil wrung him "dry" of his smuggness entirely when he was done.

And he wasn't even using a Filafel to do so!

This was from the transcript of last night's show. (I didn't watch it. It showed up in my search 'bot this morning. You could have knocked me over with a feather.)

15. That would be funny
But I bet he had a slip of the tongue and meant to say Liebermann and got caught up in his fevered imagining of what it would be like to interview the good Senator from Massachusetts.

It just slipped out. It is his dream. Can you blame him?

19. Considering he has Kerry on his "cowards" list
Maybe he's trying to egg Kerry into doing it.

Somebody should watch and see who DOES show up.

21. And then claim he backed out
But no, we all know that Bill is completely truthful at all times. How could we ever think such a thing about him :sarcasm:

Not called the "Oh REALLY Factor" by Al Franken for nothing.

23. Had forgotten about this picture!
Made me start laughing alone in my office! An enormously overgrown Easter bunny. minus the ears. The smile says that he is fully aware of how ridiculous he looks. Cute nevertheless :-)

25. I guess not.
If the Senator's office said, 'no interview' then that probably means no interview took place. It shocked me when I read it and I am glad that it was only a fevered wet dream of O'Lielly.

26. Thank God.
Politically, it might make sense some day, but personally, I'd be devastated if he went on that show after what O'Reilly did to that woman.
