Hey everybody! I just wanted to say I'm still here. |
|
I don't post here much these days because I really don't have a lot of time to keep up on just Kerry. All you good people get into so much detail, I often open a thread and can't think of anything I could add to the conversation. I do try to defend our guy out in GD, though. It's fun tag-teaming with y'all sometimes.
Anyway, I didn't want you to think I'd abandoned this group or John Kerry. I'm still here with both, just a little too busy at the moment to make a real contribution. Keep up the good work!

I haven't been in CO since February. I will be returing shortly, however. I recall mom and pop mentioning something about snow recently. Long story short, the 7 year drought that has plagued most of the state shows signs of easing. Skiing this year was the best it's been since I was a little kid. It was great! All that snow also means high, fast rivers this summer which is good for the rafting trade. Plus our reserviors will be filled, so that means there won't be any rationing (after three summers of 2-day-per-week lawn watering).
So, snow = good. That's really all there is to say.

4. I've seen lots of your excellent posts out there |

It's nice that there are even people I don't recognize joining us at times. On the "alien" thread it was cool that people were saying you can't bash Kerry.

I too have noticed the new Kerry supporters, well, at least the people who defend him. As long as they'll support him if he gets the nomination, that's all we can hope for. If people want to support another primary candidate, that's their perogative. I worry about all the BS lies and ill will from the last campaign keeping people away from Kerry even if he gets the nom. I think if Kerry gets the nomination in '08 we'll be in very strong positon.

i'm out of it a lot of times too these days. i don't always read everything, but i just get an overview of what is going on sometimes.
i think the Senate itself has been on "vacation" for a while and is just getting back.
