Would anyone like to take on this "too little too late" poster?
I am the only individual who has been posting pro-Kerry comments at this site, so it might be helpful to have someone else post the first response.

Just a heads up: comments to these articles do get posted in their e-mail newsletters. I was really surprised the first time I saw my screen name in their newsletter as having made a recent comment.

Any takers?

1. If I remember correctly
Bobby Hanafin was a big Kerry supporter and either worked or did a lot of veteran posting on the Kerry forum and also posted on the Kerry blog.

2. Interesting. I didn't know that.
Was he pro-Kerry then or was he knocking the campaign because of the IWR?

What he says seems contradictory:

"The final comment my wife and I would like to make as parents of a child who may serve his third combat tour in Iraq and very well be the last Soldier to die for a mistake in Iraq is. My fellow Veterans THINK about how many troops lives could have been saved, how less wounded there would have been had Senator John Kerry taken this risky position in the Winter and Spring of 2004.

Sorry John but military families are going to see this as Johnny come lately. You are going to have to do something quite bolder than this to gain the trust you lost from us in November 2004 when you left us behind."

One one hand, he's talking about Iraq bemoaning the fact that Senator Kerry didn't take the "risky position in the Winter and Spring of 2004" and then he refers to being left behind in November 2004.

4. Sandsea, KG or Karendc
may remember more about him. He seemed to have defended Kerry very well during the campaign. I know he was featured in an article about the veterans for Kerry, he is a disabled vet and I believe lives in Ohio. He must have taken the loss hard. I didn't go to the Kerry forum much I was totally involved with the Kerry blog.

6. He's a disabled Vietnam vet who is also speaking as a worried father.
Maybe someone who knows him can make a kinder and gentler reply to his post.

9. Holy shit! Now that's just plain wrong. Horrible.
I certainly understand why he's upset. (Not at Senator Kerry.)
