HOLY COW! HOLY FLYING COW!
Edited on Tue May-09-06 03:26 PM by _dynamicdems
Massachusetts Democratic Sen. John Kerry is getting the thumbs up for a second presidential run from an unlikely corner - Fox TV titan Bill O’Reilly.

“If I were him, I’d do it. What’s he got to lose? He’s got huge name recognition. He almost won last time,” said the ex-Boston newsguy turned cable news heavyweight.

“I think he’s got to come out a little bit more specific,” said O’Reilly, who plans to have Kerry as a guest on an upcoming segment of “The O’Reilly Factor.”

“If he is more specific and does engage the folks, he’s got a good shot. He’s got a lot of experience. He’s got respect abroad. I think he’s a smart guy. We need some strong leadership in this country.”

1. Watch the skies, now--
Those flying pigs should be along any minute now!

What a through-the-looking glass world: O'Reilly likes Kerry????

Ok, time for my cynical side: his ratings are tanking and he realizes it's time to tack to the Left.

16. ::giggles:: Pigs....I'm supposed to drive a Pigmobile this month ....
but it won't fly (at least I hope not). Seriously, I volunteered to drive one of the pigs for a True Majority campaign. :D

24. Me too
I doubt it will work though - Kerry, if anything, is always cautious.

26. Who cares! Faux viewers take things at "face value." If big BIll said so
Or in "faux-language,': 'Some say' JK should run. Which means NOW large groups of Faux sheeple just MIGHT now open their otherwise closed minds to the POSSIBILITY of a JK run.

Whatever (possible) 'tricks' Reilly (and/or Faux) may have in mind, we must not worry about, or be thankless of.

Let us NOT look this Loofah "gift horse" in the mouth. Big Bill said, "JK run." So, "Run JK, run...NOW!"

P.S.- On a related subject: I had a QUITE vivid dream yesterday (the 'type' that in the past have actually been predictive.) In it, JK was already in the Oval Office, AS Prez!? For the first few moment after I awoke, I lost time-sequence of "reality-as-we-know-it," and actually WAS convinced (by the vivid dream) that JK indeed WAS Prez. Probably just wishful thinking, but if it DOES come-to-be, you heard it here first, okay?!

3. I don't trust him for one minute.
Maybe his rating are so far in the dumper that he figures the only way he can raise them is to say nice things about the man who should be president.

5. OMG, did we spawn O'Reilly too?
I was already upset that MA produced Norquist and Abramoff. Are we also responsible for O'Reilly?

8. Monday, Murdoch is pushing Hillary for Senate
Tuesday, O'Leilly is urging JK to run Prez.

Something funny going on here. I'd like to have a look at that memo.

18. add to the list:
Last week Joe Scarborough, on with Nora O'Donnell, said that Patrick Kennedy is a nice guy, and Rita Cosby agreed! Tucker's face at those comments was priceless--it was like, "hey I thought we were going to diss him tonight!"

9. Did you hear today that Murdoch is supporting Hillary (for Senate)
Did someone dump some truth serum in the Fox News drinking water?

11. As an eternal optimist, I like to think
Murdoch has seen the light or at the very least has decided not to go down with a sinking ship. That said, I don't trust the guy (or O'Leilly) as far as I can throw him.

Methinks there's something afoot. There are rumblings about the swifties, which I attribute to a combination of the exceptional work the Senator's been doing (and his hinting about the possibility of another run) and the soon to be released "Lapdogs". What I've heard about the book is that it devotes an entire chapter to ripping the SBLiars a new one.

Is Faux turning or are they gearing up for something nasty?

Either way, I'm ready.

is just being a businessman, getting in good with a NY senator. She has no challenger so she'll stay in.

14. O'Lielly is mostly about ... O'Lielly
He is praising Kerry because the Senator is 'doing' his show. If Kerry had not promised to come on, O'Leilly would be ignoring him.

20. O'Reilly is a whore, what he says doesn't matter
he said positive things about Kerry other times also. but when it gets down to it and it's Kerry v. Republican , O'Reilly repeats the same whore lies as the rest of the whores.

he just says these things when it's "safe" to say it so he can continue to claim he is an independent.

23. O'Liely speaks the truth about JK, but he is probably choking on his words
They must think Dem's may regain some power so they should start treating them better. Same old media pandering IMO.
