2. I didn't see anything either
There were a lot of people who introdcued legislation today. Maybe he will get floor time tomorrow morning before the Condi debate. I went to the Senate website to root around for info and got caught looking at State birds, emblems, nicknames and such (ADD) Didn't see anything on the Healthcare bill. (I did like the tourism site though, but I digress.)

Is Kerry speaking tomorrow about Condi?

4. Boxer was given an hour
Kerry was given 20 minutes so Kennedey stood and told Reid that he was speaking out for the junior senator of Massachusetts and that wasn't enough time. Reid said that he had already worked it out with the other senators and Boxer had said she didn't need a whole hour so her remaining time would go to Kerry and some of the others said that they wouldn't need as much time as allowed to them either so that would also go to Kerry. Kennedey said he just wanted to make sure the junior senator had enough time to speak.

If that gives you any kind of idea what to expect.

5. I hope I can see it.
I saw the end of the Senate session today and the hours are a little odd. Open the Senate at 9:45, take an hour for 'Morning Business' then a possible 9 hours for debate. (Lunch is from 12:30- 2:15) I have a dentist appointment at 4:30, so I have set the Tivo.

I have high hopes for this hearing. I know Condi is going to be overwhelmingly approved, but I really want to see the Dems stand up and call her and the Admin out on their Iraq misadventures. Not to mention that she was hip deep in approving torture as well.

Please Senator, just do what you did in the hearings and just tell the truth about these people. They are arrogrant screw-ups and someone has to tell the people. Go get 'em.

8. What was the verdict of this today? Did anyone see or hear?
Was the healthcare bill proposed by Kerry that we "co-sponsored"? How cool is that?
