Added to Research Forum: the Grand Canyon Response

The easy way to find something in the Research Forum is to go to the Forum (it's listed in the main forums on the DU Lobby page), then click on Research Forum Index, then scroll down to John Kerry.

The Swift Liars response page has been so useful that I thought it might be good to do that for a few more of these really stupid attacks. It's time to set people straight.

Does anyone have anything to add to that post? Anyone can edit the post in the Research Forum, but if you're not sure how and think something should be changed, just post here and someone else can update it in the Research Forum.

The question--"If you knew then what you know now, would you have voted for the authority"?--is the stupidest question ever.

As Kerry has said often, the resolution wouldn't have made it to the floor.

Seriously, if everyone knew that the evidence was false, Bush lied and Iraq had no WMD, why would the resolution even exist?

Also these people who are making the IWR an issue are also being disingenuous. The vote happened two years before the election. People voting for Kerry knew his position against the war (if they voted for him and didn't that's their problem). All one had to do was listen to what he was saying (didn't need the MSM for that) to know that he was anti-war!

3. As I distinctly recall,JK's ENTIRE response was cut-short, edited out

by all but one MSM coverage of it. (Can't recall which one showed the ENTIRE response, where he went on to logically explain his first part of the response.

But of course, the last part made him "NON" flip-flop...so it hit the editing floor...never to be seen or heard from again.
