Wow! Not everything I ever asked for, but damn good. Gee, wonder where they got that Citizen's Sponsorship idea?

2. I did it
I am going to miss you all so terribly. This semester is going to be a bitch. A glorious awesome fun learning semester, but I have 10 novels to read. 10. Not to mention all the research I'm going to have to do on this PATRIOT act thing, and I've only had 3 classes. The other 2 are tomorrow. And damned if I didn't get a philosophy teacher who is a neocon. I knew I was in trouble when the guy referred to stem cell research as "fetal tissue research" I'm going to blow my 4.0 by staying in the class because the grading is subjective, but I just can't pass up the opportunity to take on a right wing nut 3 mornings a week. It will rev my engines and I need that. I need to go to bed. I just wanted to say hi, I signed the petition, and don't forget me while I'm on nervous breakdown alert. Love y'all :loveya: :grouphug: Vinessa

8. I'm going to be making myself scarce in the future as well.
Going to a great university is a full time job... eesh. Expect to see much less of me over the next fifteen weeks or so.

15. I think it's the whole bunch....
getting together and sharing ideas on how to communicate a set of ideas consistently through the 109th Congress (two years) and trying to make better use of the internet(s) to further that agenda and rouse the base. Wonderful!

Not Kerry, per se, but a whole group of dems. And the Child Health Care proposal is in there. (Yeah!)

7. Done, and this was my message to the Senators
"I have your backs, Democratic Senators. I have hereby expanded my John Kerry Back Watch to the entire Democratic Party. Any positive action you call for to fight the Right Wing agenda, I will do my best to support."

Felt good to tell them what I've been telling everyone else around here.

16. Yup, this is the campaign agenda
see this DKos thread: http://www.dailykos.com/story/2005/1/24/16443/0031

Interestingly, it was John Kerry who had the idea to ask regular folks (and not just other senators) to "cosponsor" his Senate bills (in his case, a bill to offer all children health insurance, similar to Bill 16 on this list). I'm sure that he's not the very first person ever to hit on this PR/organizing idea, but it's a good one, in any case.

note the call for increasing troops to 40,000 and special forces by 2,000. I know I've heard that somewhere before...oh, ya...

The education policies too.

Hmm, somebody noticed. Jk done good in helping get this as the agenda.

17. Read it too!!
There is some really really good stuff in there. Just about everything Kerry ran on. Except my two favorites, buying into federal health care and the national service. And I absolutely love the citizen cosponsorship. Remember, Kerry did that first with the child health care legislation.

19. Done. I loved S.11. Our stance on how to help those in the service.
My comment to them was we have to get this in front of a majority of the military and their families. Then the servicemen will know who is truly watching out for them and hopefully realize that they should start voting for Democrats.
