I've been boycotting this site ever since they came out with an e-mail

with a very derrogative reference to Senator Kerry. I just surfed there looking for something else and...WOW! Some nice recent updates. Maybe this isn't new to the rest of you but I just found this.

1. I've been cautiously checking them out too.

I think the email you refer to was actually written by David Swanson. It's a shame - I'd thought he was cool, but there was absolutely no excuse for what he wrote. I don't know if I'll ever be able to look at Swanson again without remembering that incident. Trust seems a long way off.

I've been visiting relatives over the holidays and this was a really NASTY New Year's surprise to find in my e-mail box when I returned. I unsubscribed immediately and don't want to every see another of your "poison pen" e-mails. We don't need Ann Coulter and Rush Limbaugh when we have Democrats.com, apparently. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

Let me put it this way: I don't give a red cent to ANYONE but Senator Kerry because he's one of the few loyal Democrats left as far as I am concerned. You'll never hear him say word one against a fellow Dem. All he's done over the past year has been geared to getting Democrats elected across the country.

You want impeachment? Well, the ONLY way we are going to get that is to get the Republicans OUT of office this year. THAT is what Senator Kerry is working 24-7 trying to do. I've met him and listened to him (and yes, I've had a beer with him) and the man is the REAL DEAL.

You want to talk about FLIP-FLOPS? How about an organization that uses the word "Loyalty" in their banner and then sends out an e-mail attacking Senator Kerry. You people can just go straight to.....the BUSH ADMINISTRATION because that's where you belong."

Usually, I regret when I lose my cool, but I don't regret this one bit. :evilgrin:

4. It's about 50/50

I get emails from them once in a while and as I recall, I'm pissed off about half the time. Enough that when I see "democrats.com", I say to myself, yeah it figures.
