Question on Kerry/Lieberman.

I thought Senator Kerry was just not supporting Lieberman in the primaries, but would support him if he became the Democratic candidate in November. The Philadelphia Inquire claims he will not support him at all - primary and general. Have I got it wrong or do they?

"Sen. John Kerry, whose '08 prospects hinge on wooing the base, says he won't back Lieberman at all, before or after the primary. Nor will potential '08 rival Sen. Russ Feingold."

1. Only if Lieberman is not the nominee and runs as an independant.

Kerry and Feingold both said they would support the nominee.

3. They have it wrong - he'll back Dem nominee - call them and tell them to

correct their misstatement - they have it wrong on Feingold, too.

I contacted the writer and provided a link to back up the point that he was not reporting Kerry's position correctly.
I sense a push to characterize Kerry as a far-far lefty. I believe to diminish his appeal.
