Because I know you guys get the small stuff is actually the big stuff, the important thing about the Gitmo Tribunals is Common Article 3 according to many officers who have been fighting against these military tribunals all along.

(d) the passing of sentences and the carrying out of executions without previous judgment pronounced by a regularly constituted court, affording all the judicial guarantees which are recognized as indispensable by civilized peoples.
This is what we MUST make sure Congress includes in any legislation where they authorize how Gitmo detainees are treated. And I believe the Supreme Court did say Congress does have to authorize it, that's part of that Congressional oversight of the Presidency we've been seeking.
