My favorite band toured for Kerry "Hexum brothers Rock for Kerry tour".

I just figured I'd post this since it's about John Kerry.

Nick Hexum, the lead singer of my favorite band 311, along with his brother Zack Hexum, toured in October and November in support of John Kerry for President. I was so proud he was doing this - he is seriously my 'idol', mentor/hero. Ever since I first found 311 in 1993, they, as a whole, have always represented what I believe in and feel strongly about.

I didn't get to go to any shows, they didn't come close enough to me :(
But i was so proud of him, and he used to come onto the 311 message board to defend Kerry ALL THE TIME. He was just as upset as we were about the election :(

But, I'm thrilled they have the maturity and compassion to know a damn fine president when they see one.

2. A lot of Rock Stars supported Kerry, right?

Green Day did and the Rolling Stone officially endorsed him, so this does not surprise me.
I don't like Hexums' music, but I appreciate their work. God blesses them.

3. "Hexums" isn't a band.

Nick Hexum is from the band 311, Zack Hexum is a solo artist. so i dont know who it is you are saying you don't like their music, but let's not talk about it anymore cuz i'll get immature and start going crazy on you. LOL hehhehhehe :hug:

4. Yes, I've heard of 311, the band,

and I understand that the Hexum brothers are not a band. 311 is OK, but it's just not my kind of music is all. But, I appreciate them speaking up Kerry. I dig musicians with social consciences.
