OK, Big Eddie is showing JK the love again.
God, that guy makes me dizzy. But I did hear him say today that Sen Kerry was correct when he said terrorism is a law enforcement issue. Don't have an exact quote, I was driving.
Yay for Big Ed and of course, Sen Kerry for being way ahead of the pack (as always).

2. That's nice and all, but frankly ....
Huge egos such as Ed's and Imus's, that need to be stroked constantly, do nothing to promote our cause. So Kerry didn't stop at the ranch, or couldn't make Tuesday's show (examples), so now it's time to pull out the right wing talking points against him as punishment?
Those two (and there are plenty more supposedly left-leaning radion talk hosts and pundits with ego issues) need to put their personal shit aside. They're not helping at all. If they can't get over themselves, they should just go away already. jeez

3. I hear what you'e saying.
But I'll take it regardless. You know, for all the crappy, half-assed management seminars I've attended, the one thing that stuck is the Japanese principle of kaizen. Continuous, incremental improvement.
This was a baby step for Ed, certainly. But success doesn't often come in waves, sometimes it comes in trickles.
For all of Ed's blustering, I'll take this small bit of praise and hope it leads to more. It was heartfelt and sincere, and most important, it was heard.
I think I'll write to Ed and see if I can give him a little push. I give him enough hell when he's wrong, might as well try another approach. Maybe tomorrow, he'll take the next step.
Worth a shot.

5. Was it just me,
or did he give Kerry credit without actually mentioning his name?

I was only listening at the beginning, and then bits and pieces in the car between errands. I heard him say something, but he referred to Kerry as "the 2004 democratic nominee for president." Did he go further later on in the show? Because I wasn't sure what to make of that comment.

6. I heard him say Senator Kerry
or John Kerry, I'm not sure which. I e-mailed him and asked him to try to get Sen Kerry on his show again to discuss this. That would be a great show.
