2. Oh, that IS a feather....
I couldn't figure out what that one was. RC, were you hanging from the ceiling in that first shot?

3. Looks like the other way around
Laying on the floor looking up at the ceiling, I think. It is kind of disorienting isn't it?

4. Oh, yeah, I guess you're right.
It's weird because you can't see any of the wall above the door. Very different perspective on things.

9. It's the wide angle lens.

The Kodak lens is wider than the Sony camera is high, so the side of the lens is against the door.

The one of the digital clock, I put the lens flat against the microwave.

5. It's 11:51...
Damn watch is running slow. Thanks.

Feathers? I thought it was a hat or sumtin'. Are you snowbound yet? And how does a Kodak lens fit on a Sony. I don't understand.

6. I used a B+W 55mm to 58MM step up ring
I have both a Kodak DX7590 and a Sony DSC-H1. With adapter rings I can use lens accessories, filters, etc., on both cameras.

The lens was within an inch or so of the object.
The feather is from a turkey.

For most of those shots I just put the camera against the wall.

7. Cool photos!
I like the feather and the door lock the best. The thing I can't grasp here is what purpose the wide angle lens had in taking these? What would they look like without the wide angle lens? What I would think a wide angle lens would be good for would be a wide landscape or maybe morphing something that has a lot going on in the background.

I've been wanting to buy a wide angle lens for my kodak dx6490, I bet the one you have would fit mine

8. You will need the lens adapter also.

The wide angle lens distorts things a little. Look at the salt & pepper shakers. I was really close for most of the pictures.
