2. Nice shot.
It might look better if it were straightened. Nice shot though.

4. You've shared a lot of great photos
But this has to be my fave to date.... that I can remember. I love shots that tell a story... and this one has all kinda' chapters to read.

How often do you got out with camera? I'm guessin' it's always with you?

5. Like a Viking with a spear
Edited on Tue Jan-31-06 01:28 PM by realpolitik

I am always carrying my camera.
In restaurants, at the grocery store, on the back of my bicycle, to the doctor's office...

So far I have resisted the tempation to tote it into the shower, but I keep looking at those used Nikonos UW cameras on KEH...

I wish that this one was just a tiny bit sharper, but when you shoot primarily available light, you have to live with long exposures.

And thank you, Flash, for the wonderful complement. I am disabled, and sometimes I wonder if I can do anything as well as I did before the stroke. But I think maybe that I am a better photographer now because I pour all my effort into it, instead of being an ubergeek programmer, or a martial artist.

My favorite photographers, BTW are folks like Capa, Elliot, Cartier-Bresson, and McCurdy, who do with one picture what some folks can't do with a thousand words.

6. Spastic typo correction
Steve McCurry, not McCurdy.
