Snow is rare so I always take the opportunity to snap a few pictures.
The snow was still coming down and that added to the effect. I did very little Photoshop work, just resizing, slight adjustment of levels, and unsharp mask.

Sometimes here it LOOKS like black and white even when you shoot in color.

I found I was getting some color artifacts due to the back lighting. The De-saturate tool took care of that. There wasn't enough color in the image to keep it color anyway.
Digital cameras have trouble with bright back lit subjects. They get a blue tinge.
