My company is getting involved with the wind turbine industry and my wife and I decided to drive up near Syracuse, NY to see the real thing. It took us forever to get there and, as you can see in the picture, the turbines were very well hidden in the overcast. These things are about 350' high. We counted 16 of these in this "wind farm" and could only really get three in a frame. I was standing underneath one taking this shot and haven't processed the film yet that has the one we were under.

1. Those look huge

they seem much bigger than the ones I see out here on the wind farms. Of course ours are decades old.
