She's been complaining that I haven't taken many pictures of her lately, so we did an impromptu photo session late last night.

A beautiful young woman like that deserves to have a camera pointed in her direction once in awhile. (Love that 2nd photo, but the 1st is more "natural".) What the hell is a matter with you??? Your priorities are all screwed up.

We never have any late night impromptu photo sessions :-( ,and I need to work on my Ninja skills because most people can see me coming a mile away and usually have the same "pose"...

3. Ha! That's more how my ex-wife used be.

To show you clueless I am sometimes, I was all excited because it was another thunderstorm last night. I was pulling out the tripod to get some lightning shots. She started pouting when I got out the equipment and said, "Why don't you take some pictures of me?"

Hmm. :evilgrin:

I whip off the wide lens and put on the 50mm and, well, we'll leave it at that!

7. Careful, she will get to thinking you

like storms more than her. You have a beautiful girlfriend there and one that is willing to have her picture taken. Take advantage of the willing model part, not many like getting pictures taken. Both are great pictures though I had to play with the second one. Just wanted to see it in black and white. The color was a bit warm (incandescent bulb maybe?) Here she is in black and white, hope you don't mind.

8. Oddly enough, she doesn't usually like to be photographed

In fact, she's rather notorious for having one eyelid drooping in a lot of her pictures. We went on a cruise last December and in about half of the pictures we posed for on the ship for their photographers, the old droop was there. I don't know, maybe it's some sort of nervous tic. But with me I think she can relax more and be more natural now.

Also, she doesn't think she's very pretty. Hard to believe, I know, but she got a lot of criticism from her step-mom and the more of the same from her ex-husband. I tell her all the time that she's beautiful. Maybe it will sink in one day. In case you're wondering, she's 45, and I think she looks fantastic.
