A Dog and a Lake - (x-posted in Lounge)

I took my boy Bodhi to the lake today. He's not getting much outside time since he was poisoned in my yard a couple of weeks ago. I'm too afraid to let him out alone, or to leave him out as he's accustomed to. We went to Dairy Queen where he got his very own cup of vanilla ice cream, and then headed down to the lake. He should sleep well tonight.

Cannot believe someone would want to harm such an obviously fabulous dog! But then, my own beloved Ziggy-Doo died after being poisoned with antifreeze-laced hamburger by a fundie nutcase neighbor. :cry:
