I love your submission to the contest. To me, the concept of "Portal" is more than just a doorway or window. It is a vehicle through which one can gain some insight, or view an essence that is not available through other means (time portal, black hole, dimension portal, kaleidescope). I felt that your photo offered a portal view into the chaos of creativity and fertility. The foreground window structure itself is very controlled and organized, the inner shop where the mud pies of creativity are fashioned appears quite messy.
I was working on a concept on this nature of portal, but it didn't work out, so I ran out and took a picture of some windows.
