Day trippin'
We took a little run down to Seward today, about 100 miles south of here. Here are a few pix.

This is the south end of Kenai Lake

A day at the beach

Lily pond

A field of fireweed (which PhotoBucket has inexplicably reduced way more than I wanted it to).

1. Lovely
I like the different water surfaces on the first shot, and the lily pond looks soooo inviting ...

Be sure to look us up when you get here. :)

P.S. I see my lily pond in their photo slideshow. I like mine better.

3. Really nice!
The day at the beach shot, especially, I like. I noticed how the two girls are gingerly dipping their toes in the water. It's gotta be cold!

4. It's icy...
The kids up here are pretty amazing that way. You couldn't pay me enough to put my toes in that water. :)

6. Another great set though
my fav is the first one. I love the layers in it. Those kids are much tougher than I would be. After seeing you temps. in the 60's I would be in a jacket most of the summer. I'm a woose when it comes to cold.
