1. Welcome to the Photo Group!
:hi:

Nice work. I really like the Laguna Beach shot and the turning leaves from Tennessee.
And is that our dad? I like how well he's color-coordinated his outfit with the leaves!

2. Welcome to the group,
Please post often. These are great and love the laugher on you last pic though hard for me to pick a fav since they are all good and a wide variety of settings/moods. I also loved the snow dusted holly you entered in the contest.

7. Thank You, CC
The last pic is my brother. I was trying to surreptitiously shoot him. When he realized he was getting his picture taken he laughed. It's one of the best pictures of him I've ever seen, and I had a print framed for my mom and dad.

I will post from time-to-time. I'm a bit shy about tooting my own horn, but I do love photography.

9. Think of it as asking for
feedback and opinions, then you don't have to feel you are tooting your own horn. Besides we love to see other people's pics and are a bit greedy. Can never get too much. And drag bertha back to post more pictures please. We like kittens too.

11. Do you like your photos? I do. Take some pride in them?
Edited on Mon Oct-02-06 01:27 AM by ConsAreLiars
You should. Want to do better, or as well, more often? We all do. And this group is a good friendly place for that. Welcome. The only caveat is that you might need to insist you want (friendly, goes without saying, as you will learn) criticism in order to get that kind of help.

(edit because I hit "post" before spell check)

12. Generally Speaking
Edited on Mon Oct-02-06 01:20 PM by Mrs. Venation
Yes, I do like my photos. Occasionally I shoot a frame or two that make me proud. I really love to shoot things we see around us that, as a general rule, seem ordinary. I also really love nature photography, and I've been trying for decades to shoot a perfect wildflower photo.

I'm going to include some shots I took just today. These are of an elderberry tree in Bertha's and my back yard. I looked out and the color in contrast with the surrounding trees was astonishing.

Finally, yes, I do welcome friendly critique. It's not my intention to sell any photos I shoot, but I always want to improve my skills.

13. You should sell #1. It's very Jesus Music CD cover.
I have one like that, that I named "Jesus Music Album".

Welcome to the DU Photo group!:toast:
