Pictures from Malta (GOZO)
Home of the Pedophile Priest who molested Mark Foley. Nice huh?

Lots of stray kitties here, just as in the Aegean.

3. Thanks NV, today I made friends with a ginger kitty
hoping to take his/her ? photo - but some British brats were chasing it, throwing stuff at it -- scared it half to death. I could have stranged them.

5. Coming tomorrow, going snorkeling somewhere
Hubby will go diving at some beautiful cove. The water is just a brilliant blue here, azure blue. Very clean.

I am debating whether to take a day trip to Sicily to see the Taormina & Naxos, and MT. ETNA!! No shit, they have a super-fast catamaran ferry to Siciliy from Malta and then a coach tour to some of the highlights on the eastern coast. You have the option of going up as far as safely possible on Mt. Etna with a 4X4. I'm game!

Plus I still have to get over to the main island to see the architectural sites on Malta. So yeah, there will be more!

6. It's in the NEWS here, the pedophile priest lives on Library St.
in Victoria, about 10 min. from where we are staying. The daily newspaper said the international press has been holed up outside his house since the news broke on Thursday. If we can find out where it is, I'll take a photo of that too and post it on DU.

Sicko priests!!

8. Very nice, 48%er
Your weather looks beautiful and much appreciated here where it's gray, dismal, cold and just starting to snow. :(

9. You did get to go-lucky you!
What plane route did you take? My SO seemed kind of interested when I broached the idea, but claimed there aren't a lot of flights to there.
Have a great vacation and I'm looking forward to seeing more water shots.

10. Depends on where you are flying from...
I guess the easiest way is to fly to Europe (say Munich or Frankfurt) and connect on Air Malta. You can also get some good packages on lastminute.com

Thanks, we are having a great time. Today dh went diving and I went snorkeling in the azure blue Med. sea. It is still warm too (the water) but you want to visit Malta after April (Apr/May & Sept./Oct are shoulder seasons, JUNE/JULY/AUG high season and extremely hot here) Gozo is sleepy unless there are pedophile priests in hiding, and Malta is more busy. There are few beaches, mostly rocky coastline. Some poverty, the roads suck, but the people are extremely friendly, the food is great -- and the sea is breathtaking. Overall I give it an A. Our hotel is superb too.
