DU's turning into bedlam recently. I just wanted to see some pretty pictures and it occurred to me that I've taken a few myself, so what the hell.

You'd be especially impressed with those ducks if you knew how polluted the river they're floating on is. If the water were any dirtier, they could have walked on it.;(

4. I had to blow out the highlights in the background

to get anything worthwhile in the foreground. But it worked OK, I thought, since those highlights point straight back to the dragon.

And I was about to type *exactly* what Blue did send. That first photo is lovely.

And ducks always make me smile. I have a few. I curse their messiness every time I go out to their yard but they are FUNNY , funny creatrures that keep me laughing!

You should see what a no-man's-land our dogs can turn our backyard into in a matter of days. Have to spend a half-hour "minesweeping" before I dare try to rake the leaves.:-(
