might be nearing the end of this long dark tunnel called kitchen renovation hell.

Here is what is up so far. Mind you we ended up ripping one whole wall down rebuilding it, stripping everything off the other walls and redoing them. Then we had to tear up the whole floor and redo it from the joist up. Finally it is starting to look like it will be a kitchen one day.

Leaving the bottom cabinet doors off until the counter is in, if I can stand to wait. They come measure and do the template tomorrow.The shiny thing is a piece of stainless steel so I could be sure I wanted stainless steel back splashes. Tile floor goes in Dec. 1. :bounce: Still need to finish the drywall and paint it.

tho' as a home-renovation vet, I'd have to ask: are you sure you should have used those 1/2" socket tapping screws as opposed to the 3/16" ones?
