4. It seems like every year there are pictures of moose

with strings of lights in their antlers. We have this "city of lights" thing going on here...people (and especially businesses) are encouraged to string up bunches of little white lights in their trees and bushes to kind of counteract the darkness which can be pretty oppressive otherwise. The moose are so used to nibbling on the little trees, they never even notice the lights. It's kind of funny to see them walking down the middle of the street dragging a bunch of cords and tiny bulbs behind them.
