I got caught in the sleet and kept seeing flashes but didn't realize it was lightning. I kept thinking traffic light cameras were going off because it was so fast but I didn't see cameras and there were stop signs and not lights where I was in Bothell. Right before the sleet I was looking up at the sky and it was a solid grey blue - quite weird as there were no tonal value changes or clouds. Normally the sky is never one solid color and certianly not that color. All I could think was, this is a tornado sky. We rarely get tornados in WA state. The sleet came after the flashes, and was fast and blinding. It lasted quite a while.

Takes me back to a few times down South I wish I didn't remember.
