Haven't decided if I will enter one of these. Probably won't. Guess I just posted these to stir up a little controversy.

The Death of Hors is just one of many pieces that make up the history of the traditional Christmas Holiday Season. Hors was killed by the Evil God. It was later resurrected by the Good God. The nice one. :P

Just trying to point out that "'tis the season" pics shouldn't have to fall within such a narrow window of vision. But that's just me. :crazy:

It's suppose to start snowing tonight and go for awhile so I'm going to see if I can do something "normal". But until then.....

Tis the Season also encompasses the "nature" aspect of the holidays. Many cultures celebrate the equinoxes and solstices with gigantic bonfires.

In our family we have a history of seasonal affective disorder, so everyone breathes a collective sigh of relief when the days start growing longer. Even if by just a few minutes a day. It's a psychological thing that lifts our spirits.... :)
