I didn't even notice I had broke 10,000. Wow! I took these shots in RAW. They aren't as sharp as I would have liked. I am not sure what went wrong. I had the IS on. Meh, my lens still is fun! :)

Oh and your eagle post got me thinking about places to see bald eagles in Texas. It turns out just about an hour and fifteen minutes from me in Fairfield, Texas is the best place to see wintering bald eagles. I am going to plan a day-trip down there soon.

4. These are great.
Unless Western Bluebirds are a lot calmer than our eastern ones just catching it still was a major thing. They are pretty sharp to me. If you think they need to be sharper (you see the full size image) just add a touch of unsharp mask in whatever program you use. That is not cheating. There is an inherent blur to digital (scanning and printing too.)
Have you started putting feeders and birdbaths out yet? You get some great bird shots and obviously like birds. :)

disclaimer: Read through any typos. I have an addiction to africam these days and the lions made a kill last night. Lack ok sleep here because of getting up and checking out the noises about every 10 minutes. Back to working on the kitchen tomorrow.

7. Thanks CC
I did the unsharp mask thing but I think I was too far in some of the shots and zoomed in too with PS. Won't these birds just let me get close!?!?! We have already started getting things together for the spring garden. Primarily we want to attract hummers and butterflies but birds are welcome! :)

5. Oh I just LOVE bluebirds
We don't have any over here across the pond, but we did have quite a few Eastern Bluebirds in central Virgina. I miss them  thanks for sharing, the picture made me chuckle. :hi: 48

6. Thanks
The blue caught my attention. Really I am not familiar with them around my neck of the woods, north central Texas, but there were three that were toying with me a few days ago. ;) I hope they come back.

9. Too much is right
except for today. I went through computer hell! I ended up having to reformat everything. Ugh! But finally things are up and running again after about 10 hours of trouble shooting. I so hoping that I wouldn't have to reformat but I ended having to do it. All important files (and pics!) were already on an external drive so I didn't lose anything.
