We found a little snow near the Zugspitze
So I was playing around with this picture and decided to go B&W. There is, at most about 3 inches on the ground. It's very sad.

Here's my hubby hiking up the path in the woods.

And the ice crystals on the fencepost. But very little snow. :(

1. I'm so sorry, 48...
Great shot of the ice crystals, though. It's been spitting a few more flakes here this morning, but we're supposed to be done for a few days at least. I wish I could share some of this with you -- it's really beautiful. I'm probably going to get out tomorrow with my new lens and take a few shots.

3. Cool, I will look forward to that.
We are going to Switzerland either today or tomorrow, but the temps are unbelievable. In the 40s! And sunshine. I guess one shouldn't complain, but one wants to ski. :)

2. Zugspitze??!!! Is that in Wisconsin?
My fave is the walking up the path.... nice "solitude" thing going on. But how can I not like the ice crystals photo? It's a toss up.

You can have as much of our snow as you want. Not sure how to get it to you. More on the way....or so "they" say.
:hi:

4. LOL, yes it is in Wisconsin, can't you tell by the rugged mountain?
Just blow really hard on the clouds and I am sure they'll come across the ocean post haste. Heck at this rate, I'll have a better chance of skiing in the US when I come in January?!

5. Oi! The distance people will go to get high in Germany.

Take heart - with only 3" of snow, keine Lawinenzügen.

7. Ah the dreaded Lawinen!
Yes, those scare me. A whole bunch.

6. Great pics.
For the snow situation here - you won't find it yet. You can go skiing at the most popular places where the snow making machines are running the whole day, but otherwise, no snow yet.
