seen a red breasted one before. They are really pretty. What is in that feeder ? Is it suet ?

after watching them try to get up the posts for a week I installed a squirrel feeder. Felt sorry for the little critters. Besides, my dogs need the exercise . . .
I'll post a pic of the devices later, so stay tuned.

same thing. We felt sorry for the squirrels so we bought a bungee cord thing that has 2 hooks that you put dried corn on the cob onto the hooks. It's fun and funny to watch the squirrels run, jump and hang onto the corn to eat it. It sure keeps them occupied and out of the bird food. We also put squirrel food out for them as well.
