This Bald Eagle apparently fell out a tree as a child, broke its skull and lost an eye. They said it was kept alive by its father, who would take it a fish at the base of the tree. How they know this is beyond me, I suspect they make some of these back-stories up. Anyway.

1. I really like the first one the best.

And the eagles shots, even though slightly OOF, are still very nice.

2. they were in focus

but at 1/10th, nothing moving is really in focus. The lighting in that building was very poor. Plus, the eagle shots were all handheld at around 200mm and 1/10th, IS made very few of them worth saving, instead of all them being ditched.

3. Handholding at 1/10th even with IS is difficult
